Don't let fashion eat your Eeman

I've shed tear after tear,
because of you sis.
Due to my care I deeply fear,
because of how everything is.
Were they not clear-
those words of His (swt)?
About what you should wear,
so that you may avoid calamities!

Green belt on the waste.
Yellow jeans and makeup.
You beautify your poor face
while your soul is messed up.
Are you happy these ways?
Or do you want to stop?
Do you know the number of days
before your heart gives up?

Outlining your eyes won't make you see better.
It only narrows your view on Him (swt).
Your eyes may look prettier but your heart is sadder,
while you worry about fitting in!
He made you rich and not a beggar
but you use his gifts in sin.
You do appear  as a bragger,
when you show the world everything,

You pluck the frame above your eye
and make it seem all right.
On That Day your eye will cry
and blame you for not waking up at night!
I know it's hard, but sister try
to be the one who spreads the right.
Because one day when  you die,
Allah (swt) will bless you with His light.

"Allah is beautiful and loves beauty",
He created us in beautiful ways.
But beautifying yourself is not your duty,
if that will lead to wasted days.
Did dunya tell us who to be?
Or did Allah (swt) clarify it in many ways?
So why do you claim your heart is free,
when shaytan keeps you in his chains?

I'm tired of seeing you twist the truth
as  you take Allah's words so lightly.
I'm tired of all that wasted youth
which you chose to waste so blindly.
Others have found their Islamic sooth,
but you rock their belief intentionally.
Are you going to spread untruth
merely because of outer beauty? 


I pray with my heart as long as I breathe,
that your soul will turn soft and humble.
That your heart and Eeman won't disagree
And that your feet won't ever stumble.
May your heart never contain misery.
From trouble may it be free.
And may you wear your hijab with strength and dignity.
